RECTIFICATION OF NON-COMPLIANCE CPD PLAN

 


This form is to be completed by practitioners who have not complied with the  Legal Profession Uniform Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors) Rules 2015 (NSW) (CPD Rules) and are required to submit a plan setting out steps to rectify their non-compliance pursuant to rule 15 of the CPD Rules. 

The CPD year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year. Please review the Law Society's website about  Continuing Professional Development before completing this form.

- Private Study of Video or audio material (1 unit per hour to maximum of 5 units)

- Preparation/presentation of papers at conferences, conventions, seminars or coursesof formal legal education (1 unit per hour to maximum of 5 units)
PU
- Publications - 1 unit for every 1000 words or more of a published article in legal or non-legal publication - researched/prepared/edited (maximum of 5 units)
PG
- Postgraduate study (1 unit per hour)
CM
- Reasonable attendance as a committee member of professional association, designated local authority, or Law Council of Australia (maximum of 3 units)
